LOS ANGELES, USA (LUCKY7ENTERTAINMENT) - Kiefer Sutherland: Like you have never seen him before. In a new advertising spot for Acer he blows up a van - his masculine side. He also bakes - his other side. The "Behind the Scenes" footage with the 45-years old Hollywood actor demonstrates: Baking can be hot, sexy and masculine.
Sutherland was enlisted for a global campaign for Acer's Aspire S5 Ultrabook, launched on Monday (20 August).
The new campaign features the actor using the Acer laptop in his quest to create his own brand of cupcakes.
Sutherland takes on the tough attributes of his Jack Bauer character from TV series "24" as he bakes and makes a website for his "Dynamite Cupcakes".
The ad is launched Monday (August 20) in the UK, Germany, France and Russia supported by a cinema execution, digital work and a series of print ads.
Mother won the business in February this year, when Acer announced it would be doubling its marketing spend as it looked to revitalise its image.
Kiefer Sutherland appears in this humourous commercial for Acer's new ultrabook computer which 24 fans should enjoy. In the ad, Kiefer is very passionate about cupcakes and we get to see him channelling Jack Bauer; screaming out "Who's your supplier? Where's the icing?!" along with blowing up bombs and other 24 type stuff.
