Sony Music enlists cats to help sell their new holiday album and get people into the Christmas spirit.
(DECEMBER 05, 2013) (LEGACY RECORDINGS) - A What do you get when you mix Christmas and cats? Christmas Cats TV, of course.
Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music, has teamed up with the North Shore Animal League America animal shelter in Long Island, New York to help promote its Classic Christmas Album and pet adoption.The interactive live feed is running from December 4th to December 6th and allows viewers to send in messages via Twitter to be featured on a dry erase board held up by a so-called "cat lady".
During the eight-hour feed Christmas songs from Barbra Streisand, Gladys Knight& The Pips, Elvis Presley and others can be heard.
All the cats featured online are available for adoption.
